Family Assistance Coalition Team (FACT)
FACT was created in June, 1994 as a joint effort by the following agencies in our community to help families who are experiencing domestic violence or other family conflict. Brunswick, Brunswick Hills, and Hinckley Police Departments, Alcohol & Drug Dependency Services, Battered Women's Shelter, Brunswick City Schools, Northland Counseling Services, Salvation Army. Referrals are usually made when there is an incident or history of domestic violence, unruly juveniles, drug/alcohol abuse, attempted suicide, etc. Individuals wanting to learn more about the FACT program may contact their child"s appropriate guidance counselor at the number indicated above.
