  • 2013-2014 Freshmen Orientation

    Orientation for incoming Freshmen 2013-2014 will take place on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in the BHS East Gym.  Students whose last names begin with A-L attend from 8:00 a.m. until Noon.  Students whose last names begin with M-Z attend from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  At Freshmen Orientation, students will receive their student IDs, locker information, schedules and textbooks.  Students are expected to attend for the entire four-hour period for their orientation and tour.  Students will not be permitted to attend at a different time than what has been assigned.  Parents do not attend Freshmen Orientation.  No clubs, sports or extra-curricular activities will take place on that date, so no school-related scheduling conflicts will exist.

  • **Important Information Regarding BHS Report Cards**

    Please read the attached document regarding a change in Report Cards at BHS.  Beginning with the 2nd Quarter Report Card this year, we will no longer be printing and mailing home report cards.

  • **Report Card Quarter and Cumulative GPA Information**  

    Cumulative GPA's will NOT change with the addition of the Quarter grades.  Cumulative GPA's are ONLY recalculated with the addition of Semester Grades

    BHS Student of the Month

    Student of the Month is a program sponsored by the Medina County Gazette and the combined Kiwanis-Key Clubs of Medina County.  Its mission is to recognize juniors and seniors who are judged on their leadership abilities, scholastic performance in school, community service, employment, extracurricular activities and awards/honors.  Congratulations to our 2012-2013 BHS Students of the Month:

  • Commencement Portraits

    If you are interested in purchasing a commencement portrait, photos will be online at events.lifetouch.com ten days after the ceremony through Lifetouch. All students also received a flyer, from Lifetouch, in their Language Arts class on May 15 with more specific information.

  • Save the Date...

    On Friday, May 17 at 8:00 we will be hosting our annual Senior Award Program, for invited students and their parents. If you have received an invitation from the East Office, please plan on attending this special program. The program will be held in the PAC. All guests should park in the West Lot.

  • KIA Giveaway Applications

    Brochures for the KIA Giveaway are available in the East Office. Criteria to qualify for this special event is as follows: must have a 3.0 GPA for their senior year as of May 1; must be involved in a minimum of 2 out of class activities (job, sport, theatre, volunteer work, student council, etc.); and can NOT miss more than 6 days of school for the year or be tardy more than 6 times for the school year.
     
    All applications are due to the East Office (Ms. Bavaro/Mrs. Coates) by Friday, May 3. Each day, beginning on Monday, May 6, one senior's name will be pulled from a tumbler until 10 names have been pulled.
     
    The final drawing will be held on Monday, June 3 at Bill Doraty KIA on Route 18.

  • Prom Tickets

    Prom tickets will be on sale Sunday, April 28 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 4 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Athletic Office. The cost of a ticket is $65.00.

    After Prom Tickets 

    After Prom tickets will be sold during Prom Ticket Sales on Sunday, April 28 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Athletic Office. The cost of a ticket is $15.00.

  • Caps and Gowns

    Any senior who was not measured for their cap and gown during the designated times on Friday, February 8, must be measured in the East Office by Friday, March 8. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Coates at 330.273.0490. Brunswick High School students who attend the Medina County Career Center should see Mr. Shaughnessy.

If any student wishes to have a hard copy of this information, he/she can pick up in the East Office.
