Attention all K-5 Memorial Students!!!

 

Are you looking for something fun to do before school?

Join Memorial's new book club:

We have some great ideas for Camp Read-A-Lot and can't wait to get started!  We wil be training our 4th and 5th graders to be CAMP COUNSELORS to help our K-3 campers with reading activities.  Each meeting will involve an exciting reading selection for the entire group followed by an activity led by our 4th & 5th grade counselors.  The children will have so much fun while focusing on main ideas & details, listening comprehension, sequencing, point of view, character & setting, informal writing, & descriptive writing.  We will also host a reading camp evening for the entire school!  More information will be coming soon on that evening activity!

 

Camp Read-A-Lot will meet at 8:15 a.m. on the following Wednesdays:

 

November 13 & 27

December 4 & 18

January 15 & 29

February 12 & 26

March 12 & 26

April 9 & 23

May 7 & 21
