"An Equal Opportunity Employer"

Welcome to the Brunswick City School District Employment Opportunities page.  Thank you for your interest in employment as a licensed/certificated staff member.  We have recently implemented an online application process for educators seeking employment as teachers, administrators, members of the pupil personnel/student services department, or activity coaches and advisors.  To become a candidate for employment or to explore job opportunities currently available, follow the instructions below.

Current employees are encouraged to use this site to indicate an interest in a transfer to a vacant position or to apply for a supplemental position.  Please follow the steps listed below under "Internal Applicants."

External Applicants:  Candidates not currently employed as a bargaining unit member (BEA) with the district should begin by clicking on the Online Job Application link to the left.  Scroll through and select from the choices beneath the introductory material and be on your way to becoming an official candidate for employment in the Brunswick City Schools.  Prior to beginning an application you may wish to gather some support materials including current transcripts, teaching license, copy of you Praxis scores showing "passage", dates of student teaching and past employment, contact information for references, your resume, and a cover letter.  (External applicants may also want to utilize Ohios online application system to make their credentials available to districts throughout Ohio.  Those desiring to do so can access the application using the ODE Employment link at the left.)

Internal Applicants:
Those currently employed in the district (BEA Members) are able to indicate an interest in a vacancy through either of two options. Note that this must be done before the expiration of the posting as indicated in the Master Agreement, Section 8.033.

·         Use the Submit an internal application/transfer option after clicking the Online Job Application link at the left.

Applicants for Coaching or Other Co-curricular/Extracurricular Supplemental Contracts:  Select and follow the process detailed above for either internal or external applicants as  appropriate.
