    Incoming Kindergarten Parents:

    Join us, either Wednesday, April 29th or Tuesday, June 9th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. for a workshop to help prepare your child for Kindergarten in the Fall.  See the attached flier for all the information.

  • Change in Dress Code

    I want to make you aware that there have been a few changes to the district wide student dress code.  Please read through the Elementary Student Handbook and pay close attention to the Dress Code section as some of our policies have changed.  The Dress Code is located in your student's Planner as well as on the district webpage.  Enforcement of the dress code will begin after Christmas break.

  • FAX Line Changes 

    FAX Lines have been eliminated at individual buildings.  To send information to Applewood please send an email to the building secretary at with an attached PDF of the document or information.
    NOTE: If faxing is your only option you can send a fax to the Board of Education at  (330) 273-0507.  Because a received fax(s) will have to be sent to the building(s) using intra-office mail please be aware there will be a 1-2 day delay in communication.

  • Hidden in Plain Sight - Awareness Program for Adults

  • Student Information Form 

    If you have not already done so, please click here to update the Student Information Form for each child that attends BCSD.

    This form contains essential information for several entities of the district including the main office, the school nurse and the technology department to name a few.  It is imperative that it be updated before the year begins.  

    • Middle School & High School students will not be given schedules until this form has been updated.  
    • If you have updated since June 15th, 2014 no action is necessary.
