Web site is in the process of being revamped for the new school year. If there is anything you would like to see on this site, please let us know.
Booster organization is in need of parents who would like to volunteer just a little bit of their time to assist the choir directors during the 2007-2008 school year. Won't you please consider being an active member of the Brunswick Choral Music Boosters. Since we have no officers for this year, we are looking for people who would like to coordinate concerts, fund raisers, patrons, etc. For example, we have volunteers who would like to work the October 9th concert, but we need someone to coordinate these volunteers. Please contact the Booster organization or Mrs. Piper if you can help us out.
This is the Web page for the Brunswick Choral Music Boosters. We are the
helping hand for the Brunswick Choir Departments. Here you will find information
regarding your child's participation in the choral programs in the
Brunswick High School and the Middle Schools. make sure you scroll all the
way to the bottom of each page so you do not miss any information. If
there is anything you would like
to
see on these pages please let us know. These pages are for you and we want
them to be as informative as they can be.
Please come back and visit often.

Welcome back students. Once again summer has flown by and we are preparing for another great year of singing. A special welcome to all our incoming freshman. We think you will find our choral programs interesting and challenging for you. The choir directors are anxious to get started and Booster officers are anxious to get started. Art and music in our schools is so important and the BCMB have been tireless in their effort to promote the art of song thru concerts, competitions, choir trips, show choir, and the Keck Scholarship helping the choir departments. It is going to be a very interesting year with some changes that will benefit everyone. So students raise your voices in song. Parents raise your hands to help.
Next Booster Meeting of the year is November 1st. We are looking for parents to help us with concerts, trips, fund raiser decisions, Keck Scholarship awards, and other matters that affect our choir directors. The directors can't do it alone so please think about helping out this very special educational area for your student. The time is minimal, but the effects huge. Please check High School Page for Information on Volunteering for Concerts

Please check these pages for correct dates of future Booster meetings. This year we are going to offer meetings on Tuesdays or Thursdays throughout the year. By offering two different days we are hoping that more parents will be able to join us. Won't you please join us and help shape the future of our choral departments. All parents and students at any choir level are invited to join us.
PLEASE COME AND JOIN US.

NEXT BOOSTER MEETING IS May, 2008 Check back for exact date. We will be discussing Spring activities. Please check the web site for any updates on meeting dates and times. Because attendance at the meetings is almost non-existant meetings will be at the discretion of the choir directors. If your student is in choir help shape their year and make decisions that will affect their choral experience. Meet the BCMB officers, and meet the choral directors for the high school and middle schools. All parents of a child involved in choir at any grade level are invited to attend. All meetings are held at 7pm in the high school choir room every month, unless otherwise noted. Any changes will be posted on this web page. This year we will toggle meeting days in order to be accessible to more parents. Make yourself heard in regard to trips, fundraisers, concert attire, or any other matter that will affect your student this year. You can't be heard if you are not there. Don't let these important decisions be decided by only a handful of people. Hope To See You There A list of all BCMB meeting dates are on the calendar page at the bottom. Please remember that these dates are subject to change and any changes will be announced here and on the calendar page. |
Thank you to all our great Patrons. It is with your additional support that our choir program can survive and flourish. Won't you please consider becoming a Booster Patron. The Patron Page will give you all necessary information about becoming a patron. There is reserved seating for concerts and your name is printed in each program. Funds go to help further our children's choral education. With your patron subscription tell us where you would like to sit and your seats will be reserved for all concerts. Never worry about not being able to see your child close up or arriving late and having no seat. Seat assignments will be printed right on your patron card. Click the Patron Page for form and PAC seating chart. First concert coming up soon so don't lose that good seat. |
ONE NEW BIG CHANGE THIS YEAR - PLEASE READ!
The Booster Officers have implemented a change in how choir department money is being collected. We have obtained a Post Office Box number to be used exclusively by the BCMB organization. Parents and students are strongly encouraged to use this post office box when sending in any money for fund raisers, patron subscriptions, concert attire payments, trip payments, or any other reason you would need to send money to any choir director. We feel that by using this post office box that your money is more secure and any payments can be processed in a timely manner. Our choir directors have been concerned over the years that they have to handle large sums of money in an unsecured environment and had to take time away from each class in order to collect money. This can result in payments being lost or misplaced and not processed in a timely manner.
This year Mrs. Piper will accept no monetary payments during class time. She will set aside a few minutes before school starts in the morning to collect money, but due to the short time period and general morning confusion, very few payments will be accepted at that time.
Please check with your middle school directors for information on their monetary collection procedures. We will post more information on the Middle Schools when it is received.
The Post Office Box Address Is:
Brunswick Choral Music Boosters
P. O. Box 360913
Strongsville, Ohio 44136
Please feel free to send money or any other correspondence that you would like to keep confidential. We only request that all payments or correspondence be marked with students name and school.
This box will be collected twice a week, Monday and Thursday. For those who may be concerned that it is a Strongsville address, the Brunswick Post Office did not have any available boxes at this time. Please feel free to contact any of the Booster officers if you have any questions.
We are sure that you will agree that this new method of sending in payments will be both easy and secure
