  Welcome to our school family. Congratulations to our students for their distinguished rating by the state as, "Excellent with Distinction." I am very proud of their hard work and dedication to themselves and their community through diligence in their education. Our school family practices the philosophy of " The Story of the Starfish." Our students strive to make a difference in the lives of others. They achieve this through community service, personal growth, and educational goals. At Towslee we encourage students to be well rounded as community members. We want our students to be remarkable members of our community as well as achieving academic ratings such as "Excellent with Distinction." Our teachers, staff members, students, and parents are to be commended for their consistent dedication to making a positive difference. I am, as always, honored to share in this community of caring and dedicated individuals. The Story of the Starfish An old man walked up a shore littered with  thousands of starfish, beached and dying after a storm. A young man was picking them up and flinging them back into the ocean. "Why do you bother?" the old man scoffed. "You're not saving enough to make a difference." The young man picked up another starfish and sent it spinning back to the water. "Made a difference to that one," he said. Our students make a difference every day. |
