Market Day has issued another statment regarding the recall for the Mozzerella Bites:

As indicated in the previous e-mail, the supplier of this product, Rich Products Corporation, initiated a voluntary recall of Mozzarella Bites due to potential contamination with Escherichia coli 0121 bacteria (“E.Coli 0121”). There have been no confirmed reports of illness associated with consumption of the product.

As a further precautionary measure, Rich Products has expanded the voluntary recall to include all Mozzarella Bites sold by Market Day since the item was first introduced in December. No other products sold through Market Day are affected.

If you or your customers have a box(es) of Market Day Mozzarella Bites, item #4010, please do not prepare and consume the product.

If you or your customers have already consumed the product you need not be concerned. Each product package contains cooking instructions on the back of the packaging that, if followed, will effectively destroy any E.Coli bacteria.

Please dispose of the product and if your customers would like a refund, they can request one at your sale or call Market Day Customer Services at 877-632-7753.
