Brunswick City Schools is a district of more than 7,400 students located 20 miles between
Cleveland and Akron. There are seven
elementary buildings, three middle school buildings and one high school. Our district consistently earns the rating of
Excellent on the annual school report card.

began in Brunswick, Ohio in 1817 when Sarah Tillotson became the first teacher
in Brunswick. She taught a class of 16
students in a log cabin located on the west side of town until the first schoolhouse
was built. Since that time many
educators and boards of education have been committed to the education of the
youth in Brunswick.
