Welcome to our class page. I am a part of an amazing 5th grade team.

Mrs. Clark teaches Science/Social Studies, Mrs. Roberts teaches Math

and I teach Reading/Language Arts. 

 

 

I truly believe this will be one of the best school years ever for your child - our team works hard to provide solid, creative learning and adds just the right amount of fun ! !   Add to that our annual trip to Mohican Outdoor School, holiday parties (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, End of the Year Pool Party), our 5th grade Awards Program - and the memories will be many ! !

    Every student has a student planner that is used daily to record assignments.This planner is a great way to stay on top of homework, class work, tests, and projects.  Parents should check this planner daily. 

     

    Interventions are available daily for all students.At the end of every class, students are asked to evaluate their understanding of the lesson.  If the child does not have a good understanding they are expected to stay in for help at recess for intervention.Peer tutoring and one-on-one teacher help is available.
