A Word About Away Matches
During the school year, when an away match is scheduled, the bus leaves at 2:45 PM from the East doors. If you are not ON THE BUS at 2:45 PM, it will leave without you and you will not play in the next match. Please be courteous to your coaches and teammates and be on time!

Bag Check
Consider tossing these items into your bag: sunglasses, hat/visor, an extra pair of socks, a sweat towel, an extra t-shirt, sunscreen, an extra pair of shoelaces. In addition, as we move into September, temperatures begin to cool down in the late afternoon and early evening. Please be prepared for cooler weather. Toss a jacket or sweatshirt and a pair of sweats into your bag. It is also a good idea to bring a blanket or towel to sit on because very few places have bleachers on which to sit and watch matches.

A Word About Weather
In the event that a match is cancelled, I will let you know as soon as possible but always be ready to travel. We play some matches that are far enough away that while the weather may be a factor in Brunswick, it might not be a factor for the school hosting the match. Most times in a rainout situation, I don't find out until the last minute and having everyone in one place, at one time eliminates the confusion of trying to locate players and having to repeat announcements. When school starts, if a match is cancelled for any reason, an announcement will be made before the end of the day if possible, so please listen to the announcements closely! If you have early dismissal or attend the career center, it is your responsibility to call another player or email a coach.
