2008-09 Girls Volleyball
Important Information:
  • Coaches:  Coach Discenza - 7th grade     Coach Wenmoth - 8th grade
  • Tryouts:  Monday, August 11th and Tuesday, August 12th from 9:00 am until 11:30 am in the Edwards Middle School gymnasium.
  • Practices:  Begin Wednesday, August 13th at Edwards Middle School and run from 9:00-11:00 a.m. the first two weeks.  When school starts, practices will be held from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Edwards Middle School.  Practice times could change, so please keep up to date on the sheets.
  • Pay to Play Fees:  $80 this year, with a family maximum of $360.
  • Bring to Tryouts:  Wear a t-shirt, shorts, tennis/volleyball/basketball/running shoes (any gym shoe will be appropriate), and knee pads (essential).  Bring a water bottle EVERY DAY!!!
  • Important:  Every athlete must have a CURRENT PHYSICAL to be able to participate in tryouts and volleyball season dated no earlier than June 9th, 2008.  No physical means no participation, no exceptions!  Click here to download physical form.
  • O.S.H.A.A. physical forms (physicals for sports) are available throughout the rest of this school year in the office.  During summer break, physical forms may be available at the Brunswick High School Athletic Office.  Sports physicals are given at the Brunswick Family Practice office located in the Immediate Care Center on Center Road (near the Buehlers Super Market).  They have a specific date for student physicals when they are only $15 in the summer, please call them for further information.

  • 7th grade plays first on Mondays and 8th plays first on Wednesdays.
  • Home games are played in Edwards' gym.
  • Admission for adults and high school students is $2.00.  Middle school students and below are $1.00.  Seniors are free with NOCMSL pass.
  • If a student plays in the first game, they cannot play in the second game.
