Kindergarten Registration

The Board of Education has adopted revised board policy indicating a change to the Kindergarten birthday cut off date.   Effective beginning the 2017-2018 school year, the new policy states that your child must be 5 years old by August 1 of the year in which they apply for entrance.
(If you do not have access to a computer, computers will be available at the Brunswick Board of Education.)
Beginning February 1, 2017, Brunswick City Schools will begin accepting Kindergarten enrollment applications for the 2017-2018 school year. 

Kindergarten registration cannot proceed unless the registration application is submitted electronically, an appointment is scheduled, and all original documents are produced at the time of the registration appointment. Only a custodial parent/legal guardian can officially enroll a student.  Therefore, the custodial parent/legal guardian must be the individual present at the registration appointment.

To begin the Kindergarten Registration Process, please follow the steps below:
Step 1Complete the Student Registration Application Form
Click here to begin. If this is the first time  you are registering a student in our district, you will need to create a username and password to access the online Application form.  You will have an opportunity to schedule an In-Person Registration Appointment during the application process.  Please be sure to record that date and time of your appointment. Once you complete the on-line application, you will be directed to the Final Checklist page that confirms you have completed the first step in the registration process.  This Checklist page also lists the original documents you need to bring with you when you attend an in-person registration session.
Step 2: Attend an In-Person Registration Session
All In-Person Registration Appointments are held at the Brunswick Board of Education - 3643 Center Road.  Please bring your student with you to the registration appointment.  District Nurses will be conducting vision/hearing screenings and will be reviewing your immunization records.
Please noteYOU MUST BRING ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS WITH YOU at the time of registration.  Original documents will be photocopied and returned to you immediately.  You will find a list of required documents in the Student Registration Application on the "Checklist" page.

Please also note
:  Kindergarten Registration is being conducted on the dates below from 8:00 - 11:00 am and from 1:00 - 3:30 pm by appointment only. Appointment slots fill up quickly, so when you schedule your appointment during the application process, you will only see the dates and times that are available.
