• Mental Health Services

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. In a school setting mental health can have a huge impact on student learning and development. As a district we strive to be a place where everyone feels appreciated, safe, respected and proud. School- based services can touch on a variety of topics such as social media, testing anxiety, depression, bullying and stress.

Throughout the district a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support system (PBIS) has been implemented with a theme of PRIDE -  Performance, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Effort. Through PRIDE, Brunswick is setting the bar high for our students and ensuring that our schools are and will continue to be a place with a highly supportive and encouraging environment where all students can excel, and reach their full potential.

Each month will focus on a different mental health topic:
    September- Social Media
    October - Unity Day/Bullying Prevention
    November - Military Family Awareness
    December - Depression/Anxiety

There are a variety of counseling services available in Brunswick and surrounding communities. A complete list of local resources can be found below.
