Mrs. Mary Weinhauer, Board President
Mary grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and settled in Brunswick with her husband, Gary, in 2002. She is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and earned her teaching certificate from Baldwin-Wallace University. The Weinhauers have three children who are all students in Brunswick City Schools. Mary was elected to the Board in 2017 and is currently serving her second term which expires in December 2025.
Mrs. Kim Goessler, Board Vice President
Kim has resided in Brunswick with her husband Dave since 1995. Kim has been very involved in the Brunswick City School system in various volunteer capacities since 2005 when her son Kyle started Kindergarten. Kyle graduated in 2019 and her daughter Courtney will graduate in 2021. Kim's background is in accounting and financial reporting and analysis. In September 2020, she was appointed to serve the remainder of the late Grant Relic's term. She was reelected and is currently serving her second term which expires in December 2025.
Mr. Steve Diedrick, Board Member
Steve has resided in Brunswick with his family since 2017. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. Steve currently works in Strongsville City Schools, where he teaches AP Government and Economics and previously served as an elementary principal and K-8 reading intervention teacher, providing him with K–12 experience. His professional background includes coursework in finance, accounting, and organizational leadership. He and his wife have children who attend Brunswick City Schools. Steve was elected to the Board in 2025.
Mrs. Alison Hanudel, Board Member
Alison moved to Brunswick with her husband, Stephen in 2017. She grew up in Wooster, Ohio and earned her B.S. degree in Physical Education from The University of Akron. She then earned a M.Ed degree in Exceptional Student Education from St. Leo University. Alison has worked as an Intervention Specialist for Cloverleaf Local Schools since 2012. She and her husband have two daughters, one in first grade and their youngest will begin kindergarten in the fall, both within the BCSD. Alison is currently serving her first term which expires in December 2027.
