Brunswick City School District values the families that live in our community who have ties to the military.  As a district, we understand that military children go through unique circumstances and situations, and we are here to help those families.  This web page is designed to provide students with easy access to links and helpful resources.

Military One Source This site has parenting resources, benefits and programs.  It can help with finding quality child care, learning about adoption, helping your child excel in school, and connecting to resources. 

Ohio National Guard Family Readiness Program  This program provides information and tools for Ohio families, including educational resources, youth camps, and recreational programs. 

Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC)  The Military Child Education Coalition's work is focused on ensuring quality educational opportunities for all military children affected by mobility, family separation, and transition.  

Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission  Ohio is one of 35 states involved in the Interstate Compact for Educational Opportunities for Military Children, which is working to ensure that military children are properly enrolled in schools, have eligibility for school activities, and have assistance in meeting graduation requirements.  Learn about the compact on this website.  For additional information, contact ODS staff member Pete Lupiba, the council's state commissioner, at Pete.Lupiba@education.ohio.gov
