Is Youth Wasted on the Youth

by Pat Geschke and Dawn Allar on 12/18/2024
Length: 30 minutes

When people say, "Kids these days," it's not a compliment and often overlooks the extraordinary potential and compassion of the younger generation. In Episode 5, we challenge this perception through the inspiring story of Molly LeHue, a 5th-grade student at Hickory Ridge Elementary School.  Listen as she shares her journey of organizing a charitable project benefiting the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center. Her story exemplifies how our students make meaningful contributions to their community, demonstrating leadership, empathy, and initiative at a young age. Through Molly's experience, we witness a shining example of how Brunswick City School District students prove that youth is not wasted—it's being harnessed to create positive change in our world.
