Preschool Peer Models

If you are interested in enrolling your child in our Preschool Program as a typical peer for the 2026–2027 school year, please click here to complete the 2026/2027 Peer Screening Application Form.

Preschool Peer Models

Peer models are typically developing children, ages 3 to 5, who are selected to participate in the preschool program. While they benefit from the preschool experience themselves, these children serve as peer role models, providing social interaction, language modeling, and motivation for children with identified disabilities. Because children learn not only from adults but also from observing and interacting with their peers, peer models play an integral role in the preschool environment. Building peer relationships supports the social, communicative, and cognitive development of all children.

Tuition Information

Preschool is not a state-mandated program in Ohio; therefore, a tuition fee of $1,750 per year is charged. A non-refundable deposit of $175 is required at enrollment and will be applied to the final month’s payment if the child remains in the program for the full year.

Tuition helps support the ongoing costs of the program and the purchase of consumable items used in the pre-kindergarten environment, such as snacks, cooking supplies, art materials, paper products, and special event items. Families may be eligible for a reduction or waiver of tuition based on financial need.
