The Brunswick City School District is required, per Ohio Revised Code Section 3313.666, to report the number of harassment/hazing/bullying incidents as defined by the Ohio Department of Education. Based on this definition, the Brunswick City School District had zero incidents reported during the 1st semester of the 2021-2022 school year.

Brunswick City Schools Restraint and Seclusion Complaint Process
To file a complaint in regards to the restraint or seclusion of your child, the parent must in writing, contact the Superintendent of Brunswick City Schools Mr. Jason Niedermeyer directly.  The Superintendent will then have 30 days to investigate and a face-to-face meeting will be held with the Superintendent, Parent and any other team members the Superintendent deems necessary based on information gathered during the investigation.  After this process has concluded, if the parent has concerns they feel go beyond the district they can contact the Brunswick City Police Station, (330) 225-9111, Medina County Job and Family Services, (330) 722-9300, or the Ohio Department of Education, (877) 644-6368/OECComplaints@education.ohio.gov
