As we welcome in the warm weather and watch the springtime return to the thawing ground, we also welcome in the fourth quarter of the school year. In this quarter we will be reading John Steinbeck's novella Of Mice and Men. We will also be studying poetry and the many forms it takes, as well as reading and analyzing William Shakespeare's classic tragic love story Romeo and Juliet. In addition, we will continue to study grammar and analyze our own writing for proper usage of English language conventions. Students will have state mandated end-of- course exams (EOC) in April, then bid adieu to another school year with final exams on the last three days of the school year. Please remember to check the lesson plans posted on the bottom of this page for the most up to date information, and don't hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Happy Spring and Happy Reading!
